Launch 360 workshops
One of the most clear and pressing needs when
it comes to 360 degree feedback is to ensure buy-in to the process.
The success
of a 360 process hinges on the perception and understanding of
the process by the respondents. Therefore for groups of respondents
we have implemented a half day launch workshop at the beginning
of the process.
The workshop entails a review of the 360 process, the value of
it in enhancing performance, how to select ratees, setting up the
questionnaire, how to complete the questionnaire, the report and
feedback. For one client we were able to set up computers for people
to see how they would access the questionnaire and to complete
a dummy run.
Executive coaching and 360 degree feedback
At the beginning of
an executive or behavioural coaching contract we will run a 360
degree feedback process with selected ratees
nominated by the client. We also include 1-1 interviews to build
up an in depth picture. At the end of the contract, typically over
a year, we would run a mini 360 as part of a progress review.
Client Case study
For a medium sized private sector organisation,
we began by setting up a series of large group workshops and 1-1
interviews. This gave
us the data to create competency frameworks for 3 levels within
the organisation; directors, senor managers and managers. These
documents have been used for appraisals, personnel specification
and 360 degree feedback throughout.
Team Coaching
We provide 360 degree feedback for consultants coaching
top teams. Typically these are run at the start of a piece of
work often repeated
at a later stage. The information gathered from other members of
the team, and may include their direct reports depending on the
focus of the 360. This may be directed at team skills or take in
a wider competency framework in use in the organisation. We can
also draw on our own library of competencies.
Individual 360 reports for clients of external coaches
We are able
to offer generic competencies for external coaches wishing to run
a 360 degree feedback process with the clients.
We can either provide a bureau service for this or set up a franchise
