What is a 360° feedback process?

  • The systematic collection and feedback of performance on individuals
  • It measures behaviours and competencies shown by respondents
  • Respondents will receive feedback from your line manager, direct reports and peers as well as determining your own view on your performance

 

How has the 360° feedback process been developed?

  • Your own competency framework or Online360 generic competency framework will have been inputted into the online system.
  • Each competency contains behavioural statements
  • The competency framework has been used to develop the 360° feedback questionnaire, which will be completed online

 

Who will deliver the 360° feedback process?

  • Online360 (www.online360.co.uk) will provide the online questionnaire, analyse the results and produce the reports
  • Your feedback session will be with a coach from Peter Bluckert Coaching (www.pbcoaching.com)

 

How does the process work?

  • After a briefing, you will begin the 360° feedback process
  • Online360 will contact you via email and ask you to complete a form supplying the email addresses of your feedback providers, ie your line manager, direct reports etc.
  • Choose feedback providers who know you well and who often work with you, and who will give you honest feedback (both positive and negative) on how they see you
  • Online360 will send them each an email, containing a link to the online questionnaire. The questionnaire is then completed on-line and received by Online360.
  • Online360 will also send you an e-mail containing a link to the questionnaire, which you need to complete about yourself
  • Questionnaires should be completed online, however a paper or floppy disc version can be sent out as alternative methods
  • Online360 will run off your report

 

When will my 360° feedback session be held?

  • The 360° feedback session will be held after your 360 degree feedback questionnaire has been completed by all ratees and your report has been printed off.
  • A date and time will be set-aside for individual feedback sessions.
  • The session will be scheduled for 2 - 3 hours.

 

How confidential is the process?

  • Online 360 produce upto two copies of your 360° process report
  • One may be forwarded to the coach who conducts your feedback session to allow him/her to prepare for your session
  • You will be given this report at the end of the feedback session
  • You are encouraged to share your report with others, especially those individuals who completed the questionnaire

 

How long will it take to complete the questionnaire?

  • Each questionnaire takes approximately 20 minutes to complete

 

What if I have problems in getting into or using the online questionnaire?

  • Keep trying! It may be a peak time for access to the internet site
  • There is a contact e-mail address and telephone number on the website for you to use if you have any problems

 

What if I get called away from my desk whilst completing the questionnaire?

  • The questionnaire will still be available from the point at which you left it. If you need to log out of the questionnaire before completing it, finish the page you’re on, and press NEXT. When you log back into the questionnaire, you will be returned to the point at which you left it.

360 Degree Feedback for Independent Coaches
There are increasing numbers of coaches working with clients both individually and in teams. A 360 degree feedback process is an invaluable tool for both creating a personal development plan and for providing information from the wider working context. We will manage the setting up of a 360 questionnaire and then provide you with copies of the reports. We can set up an account for coaches wishing to make use of our inexpensive and reliable service and we are able to provide guidance on the use of our reports.

Competency Framework
A competency framework encapsulates an organisation’s values and skill sets, and can be used for a number of purposes e.g. appraisal and recruitment. If an organisation does not have a competency framework or wishes to update an existing one, we will work with the organisation to produce one; this is done through a series of workshops supplemented with interviews with key managers. The effect of this involvement in the process is to create genuine ownership of the competency framework.

Coaching
360 degree feedback provides people with detailed information about their strengths and weaknesses and allows them to create an action plan for themselves. Often the impetus that is created by such in-depth feedback is lost unless they have the support and challenge that is provided in a coaching session. Team Coaching and Team 360s
We provide 360 degree feedback as a support for team development and team coaching. We are able to work with organisational competencies or can provide questionnaires linked to specific team competencies, emotional intelligence, or we can draw on our Online360 Generic questionnaire which has been used extensively with teams in both private and public sector.

Development Centres
Development Centres are designed to help an individual to receive feedback about their behaviours within a small group setting whilst allowing them to be coached throughout the day to address emerging developmental issues. Our Development Centres are done in conjunction with Freya Williams, who is both highly experienced and well established in the field. We add to an already powerful format the benefits of a 360 degree feedback report, conducted in advance, which brings in the perspective of the wider organisation.
